The company - My client, an e-commerce organisation based in Salford, Manchester, is growing at a phenomenal rate and is looking to strengthen its IT department by appointing an IT Support Manager.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will manage a small team of IT Support Technicians (1st line support) across multiple sites.
You will be leading the IT Support team, including the overall workload, setting priorities, consulting with other business functions and removing blockers to ticket resolution, building a culture of excellence across IT Support.
You will be able to think under pressure and have superb attention to detail.
The ideal candidate:
* Will be a proven leader with experience managing and developing a small technical support team in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
* Will take a pragmatic approach to applying ITSM principles, balancing the need for process and structure with the delivery of business value.
* Will have an analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and will be proactive in identifying inefficiencies and confident in questioning and refining requests and requirements to arrive at the best solution for the business.
* Will be skilled at managing multiple issues in a fast-paced environment, teasing out the business value of each and prioritising accordingly.
* Will have a proven ability to work with vendors and teams to resolve complex issues.
* Will have the ability to engage with and manage the expectations of a wide range of stakeholders, from end-users to senior leaders. They can describe highly technical solutions to our internal customers in simple and understandable terms.
* Will be confident in training end-users, both in groups and one-to-one sessions.
* Will have experience supporting multiple business systems, ideally in a retail or e-commerce business. Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and experience with Linnworks, Peoplevox, Sage 200, and SureMDM would be useful, but naturally, we recognise skills transferred from other systems.
This is an on-site role with flexible working hours.
