Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
Location: Nottingham area
Pay Range: up to £46,500 plus excellent package
Contract Type: Permanent
We are recruiting for a global manufacturer seeking a hands-on, mechanically biased engineer to maintain a production manufacturing site that produces industry-leading products. This is a world-class manufacturing environment processing and packing thousands of units daily, offering an excellent opportunity to join a growing site.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using appropriate tools safely.
* Inspect machinery and equipment, report on their condition and performance, and suggest improvements. You will have the autonomy to lead and implement these improvements.
* Perform planned and preventive maintenance according to schedules.
* Maintain the site to world-class standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
* ONC in Mechanical Engineering
* Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, maintenance, or similar manufacturing qualification
* Or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing background
