Join a leading telecommunications company as a Project Coordinator!
Our client is delivering a major fibre upgrade programme across multiple cities, and they’re seeking a proactive and organised individual to support regional programme and field teams. As a Project Coordinator, you will be central to ensuring smooth delivery of fibre infrastructure projects, coordinating across internal departments, build partners, and local authorities.
Role Details
* Location: Motherwell (Hybrid - twice per month on-site)
* Rate: £200 per day (inside IR35)
* Contract Length: 26 weeks (with visibility to extend)
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate material orders and stock levels via TrackTrans to support build partners.
* Run daily/weekly reports to ensure job permitting aligns with programme plans.
* Prepare documentation for power and OLT deployments, ensuring milestone alignment.
* Upload test files and manage access requests for build partners.
* Collate handover documentation including as-builts, test results, and inspection forms.
* Monitor GIS review queues and manage rejections with build partners.
* Support Delivery and Field Managers with escalations and contract partner queries.
Key Requirements
* Excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, comfortable escalating issues when needed.
* Experience working with local authorities is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of FTTH/FTTP networks is desired.
