Overview: Our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, has retained our services to search for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their team.Benefits:30 days annual leave per annum5% Employer Pension Contribution (post 3-month postponement period)Access to Medi Cash(Post successful probation)2 x Life Assurance (details included in the statement of particulars)Employee Ownership(post 12-months service)Remit:An excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer of components and assemblies servicing a wide range of industries.Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skillsThis opportunity will suit an Injection Moulding Technician who is looking to continue their development and further their career within the industryRole:The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the businessAs injection moulding setter it is your responsibility to ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing productsTo be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation teamAs injection moulding setter you will be required to carry out tool and material trialsBasic machine maintenance and trouble shootingTo drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothlyEnsuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved.To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.Experience:Injection moulding setting experienceRecognised injection moulding qualification (preferable)Knowledge of materials such as PC, ABS, PA, PP, TPE etcAbility to work in a teamAbility to troubleshootAbility to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane etc.)Self-motivated individual with a willingness to achieve KPI targetsKey Words: Injection Moulding Setter, Injection Moulding Technician, Mould Technician, Mould Process Technician, Mould Setter, Senior Setter Plastics, Injection MouldingFOOTERDue to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
