Finance Analyst
Contract Type: 12-month FTC
Location: Bellshill - ML4 3NW
Hybrid working
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Finance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
1. Performing all accounting processes in scope for your site / customer / function, such as month-end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, while ensuring to meet all KPI requirements
2. Getting to know your customer / site inside out. Acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making
3. Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production
4. Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and highlighting any escalations
5. Identifying any opportunities for continuous improvement

9. Strong financial and analytical skills
10. Customer-facing experience
11. Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
12. Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable
