Injection Moulding Setter – Night Shift
Location: Middleton (Greater Manchester)
Salary: £37,500-£39,000/annum (depends on experience)
Type of role: Full-time, Permanent
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 22:00-06:00
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and hard-working Tool Setter to join our team! We are an injection-moulded plastics company operating in a huge array of industries, and as a Tool Setter you will be maintaining, changing and replacing the tools inside our machinery. You will be responsible for the setting and operating of moulding machines within your section and assisting in completing orders on time, as well as supervising small teams of operators on the mould shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
1. To be able to demonstrate tool changes safely and to the highest standards in line with the Company's schedule
2. To be able to utilise the injection mould setting to ensure all processes are optimised to achieve targets on new and existing products
3. To ensure injection moulding processes minimise waste and maximise cost-effectiveness
4. To be able to troubleshoot, problem solve and use a logical approach that achieves a speedy solution to the problem
