Location: Diriebught Roads Depot, Inverness
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £40, - £43, p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
1. Co-ordinate the effective day to day delivery of Roads and Winter Maintenance activities within available resources.
2. Manage operatives and resources in the delivery of frontline Roads and Winter Maintenance activities.
3. Act as the primary local point of contact for Members and communities within a defined geographical area.
4. Participate in all aspects of Roads and Winter Maintenance.

Requirements
5. Possession of Driving Licence for LGV, Category C and C+E
6. Knowledge/Experience of Roads and Winter Maintenance operations and works.
7. Proven leadership experience
8. Experience of operating construction related plant or other construction related skill.
9. Practical or Technical Knowledge, normally acquired through a professional qualification, for example ONC/HNC/HND or through relevant working experience in a Roads/Construction activity.
10. Ability to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
