As part of Ideagen’s Legal & Compliance team, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling the business to move quickly, confidently and compliantly by delivering practical, commercial legal support across a wide range of contracts and agreements. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you’ll help shape robust legal foundations, mitigate risk, and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements in line with business requirements Providing clear, timely, and pragmatic legal and contractual advice to internal stakeholders Identifying contractual and legal risks and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation strategies Managing, reviewing, and updating standard form contracts and legal templates Liaising with internal teams and external parties to support contract negotiations and relationship management Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the legal team, including process development and implementation Supporting the business in maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies Delivering legal and contractual training to key stakeholders where required You hold a law degree or equivalent legal qualification You have experience working with commercial contracts, ideally in a business-focused environment You demonstrate strong negotiation skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, with a high level of attention to detail You work collaboratively and build positive relationships across teams and with a variety of stakeholders You are organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities You bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine interest in developing your expertise in commercial law About Ideagen Ideagen is the invisible force behind many things we rely on every day - from keeping airplanes soaring in the sky, to ensuring the food on our tables is safe, to helping doctors and nurses care for the sick.
