Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Manager to join our team in an Outstanding childcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and a passion for early childhood education. As a Baby Room Manager, you will be responsible for leading our baby room of up to 6 babies and 5 two-year-olds, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for children, and guiding staff in delivering high-quality childcare services.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Manage and support staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills in childcare.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
* Foster a positive environment that encourages children's development through engaging activities.
* Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education, ensuring all children receive the attention they need to thrive.
* Maintain records of children's activities, attendance, and any incidents that may occur.
* Collaborate with management to implement improvements in service delivery.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Level 3 Qualification in early Years is a mut
* AT least 2 years experience working with babies under 2.
* A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
* Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment for children.
* A nurturing attitude combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
