Company
Nigel Wright is delighted to be working with a global design and manufacturing business with a strong international presence, delivering innovative hardware and software solutions across niche sectors. With a focus on creating tailored, high-quality products that meet complex customer requirements, collaboration and technical excellence are at the heart of this organisation.
We’re looking for a Product Sales Manager who can combine technical understanding with commercial insight to deliver tailored solutions for customers worldwide. If you thrive on collaboration, problem-solving, and building strong internal and client relationships, this could be of interest to you.
About the role:
As a Product Sales Manager, you’ll act as the link between sales teams and the product division, combining technical understanding with commercial insight. This is a consultative role where you’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to design solutions and pricing strategies. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing technical solutions based on customer requirements and creating pricing strategies.
* Acting as the interface between sales teams (primarily in Europe) and the product division.
* Coordinating with supply chain, factory, and quality teams to meet customer deadlines.
* Supporting global sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Managing customer relationships, pricing, margins, and contract terms.
* Preparing technical, commercial, and pricing proposals for bids and quotes.
* Communicating effectively with international teams across multiple time zones.
Experience / Skills
We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of product knowledge and commercial awareness. Ideally, you’ll have:
* Experience in product management within a technology-related industry or a strong background in sales/commercial environments.
* Proven ability to work on pricing calculations and present proposals to customers.
* Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and managing priorities.
* Strong business awareness and understanding of commercial issues.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
If you have a combination of technical understanding and commercial acumen, even if your experience leans more toward one area, we’d love to hear from you.
