About the Role - We are seeking a confident, highly organised Sales Administration Manager to coordinate the Sales Administration Team in Hull. The role involves maintaining excellent customer service for all clients, including merchants. It requires a strong leader with a proven track record in team management and process optimisation. The successful candidate will ensure departmental efficiency, support the wider sales team with accurate data, effective communication, and seamless coordination. Please note: Travel and overnight stays will be expected initially for onboarding and team integration.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high-performing sales administration team, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
* Oversee daily administrative processes supporting sales, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
* Prioritise and delegate tasks effectively, meeting all deadlines and targets.
* Maintain accurate sales data and generate reports to inform business decisions.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams for smooth order processing.
* Drive continuous improvement in administrative systems and processes.
* Support and manage CRM and sales system usage across the team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a sales administration management role.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
* Strong understanding of sales and administrative processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective prioritisation of personal and team workload.
* Confidence in handling and interpreting data to support business needs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills essential.
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required, especially during the initial phase.
