Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Nursery Class

Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Sheffield who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery class from October 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to make a real difference to children at the very start of their learning journey.
The Role
* Working closely with the Nursery class teacher to provide high-quality support to children aged 3-4.
* Supporting children's learning, social and emotional development through engaging activities and structured routines.
* Assisting with planning and delivering small group and individual interventions.
* Helping to create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents to support progress and wellbeing.
The School is looking for someone who
* Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Has experience working with early years or within a Nursery setting.
* Demonstrates a nurturing, patient and positive approach to supporting young children.
* Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
* Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
