The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Job Description
This role will be based in Celtic Lakes. Our new 237,000‑square‑foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology! KLA is seeking a Service Product Planner to join our Service Supply Chain organization. This role focuses on planning and handling service products and spare parts to ensure high availability while balancing inventory, cost, and supply risk. The role requires strong analytical skills, a data‑driven approach, and close collaboration with Product Management, Service Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance.
Responsibilities
* Own service product and spare parts planning for assigned product lines.
* Translate demand signals, consumption trends, and forecasting inputs into inventory strategies that balance service level, cost, and supply risk.
* Handle inventory levels, service targets, and supply risks across the product lifecycle.
* Perform analysis, scenario building, and deep dives to support informed supply chain decisions.
* Analyze demand variability and supply chain performance to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
* Build reports and dashboards; provide actionable insights and recommendations to collaborators.
* Partner cross‑functionally to align demand, supply, and product lifecycle plans.
* Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and data quality.
Qualifications
* Shown experience in supply chain, service/product planning, demand planning, or business analytics.
* Strong analytical approach with the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights.
* High proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivots, sophisticated analysis); experience working with large datasets.
* Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL.
* Understanding of forecasting concepts, demand variability, and inventory optimization principles.
* Experience with ERP / planning systems.
* Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or similar field is desirable.
* Global supply chain exposure is desirable.
* Power BI or similar visualization tool experience is desirable.
