Experienced Live in Carer in South Buckinghamshire
Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield & South Bucks are looking to grow our experienced team of live-in Care Professionals so if you have live-in care experience, please apply below.
A great personality and good values are the most important attributes to deliver great care. You will need to be over the age of 18, have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle and the right to work in the UK.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.
Responsibilities
* Provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes.
* Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
* Drive clients to appointments and outings as needed.
* Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
* Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members regarding client's well-being.
Qualifications
* Care experience
* Assisted living or nursing home experience
* Patient care skills
* Alzheimer's, dementia, or hospice care experience
* Ability to provide senior care
* First aid certification
* Driving license
* Experience in medication administration
* Willingness to assist with heavy lifting
* Proficiency in meal preparation
* Ability to manage behaviors effectively
