Employment type: Contract - July & August (Monday to Friday 2pm to 18:30pm Only)

The Role
We are looking for an organised and approachable GP Receptionist to join our busy practice. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm welcome and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
2. Answering telephone calls and managing patient enquiries
3. Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments
4. Processing prescriptions and handling administrative tasks
5. Maintaining confidentiality and patient records accurately
6. Supporting the wider practice team as needed
About You:
7. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Are comfortable working with IT systems and telephones
9. Can stay calm under pressure and multitask in a busy environment
10. Have a caring and patient-focused approach
