Description To lead, develop, and continuously evaluate the strategic delivery of nutrition support across all Academy age groups and parents. This is a part‑time position, working 16 hours per week. The role will ensure the nutrition curriculum and applied practices evolve in alignment with the developmental needs of players within the Academy pathway. The Academy Nutritionist will play a pivotal role in supporting the holistic development of players across all phases of the Academy pathway. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented practitioner who can integrate strategic monitoring, individualised performance support, and impactful education within a multidisciplinary environment. Working collaboratively with performance staff, players, parents, and host families, the successful candidate will ensure that nutrition provision consistently enhances health, wellbeing, and on-field performance while upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and governance. Requirements The Academy Nutritionist must have: · Degree in Sports Science or related discipline · Master’s degree in Nutrition · SENr Registered Practitioner · Experience working within professional sport. · Experience working within multidisciplinary teams. · Current FA Safeguarding certification. Ideally, the Academy Nutritionist will: · Proven experience delivering sports nutrition services within performance sport environments. · Strong IT competency, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. · Engaging and confident presenter with strong communication skills. · Excellent numeracy and literacy. · Highly organised with strong administrative capability. · Proactive problem-solver. · Collaborative team player. · Demonstrates empathy and understanding when working with young athletes.
