Our Engineering Department is looking for a dynamic Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team at our Medway campus.

Compensation: £33,242 - £45,380 / year
Our Engineering Department is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to teach BTEC Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma courses, including units like:
* Delivery of Engineering Processes Safely as a Team
* Engineering Product Design and Manufacture (CAD and 3D printing)
* Maintenance of Mechanical Systems
* Static Mechanical Principles in Practice
* Fabrication Manufacturing Processes
Skills in welding, fabrication, electronics, or robotics are advantageous. The college offers excellent facilities, including CAD suites, electronics labs, welding bays, and a fully equipped engineering workshop.
The role requires passion for teaching, enthusiasm for developing students' English, Maths, and employability skills, with regular progress monitoring.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
* Deliver high-quality teaching, prepare materials, and assess student progress.
* Manage course administration, including scheduling, liaising with departments, and ensuring compliance.
* Assist with student recruitment, enrolment, and induction.
* Support students through regular meetings, pastoral care, and academic guidance.
* Monitor attendance and results, and promote English and Maths support.
* Participate in meetings, CPD, and departmental development activities.
* Contribute to quality assurance processes and college committees.
