You will play a key role in supporting children and young people to lead fulfilling and independent lives. As part of a close-knit team, you'll be assisting individuals with, mental health challenges, and behavioural needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care and assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide care and support to children and young people with a variety of needs
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
* Manage and support individuals in dealing with challenging behaviours in a calm and effective manner
* Work collaboratively with health-care professionals and multidisciplinary teams
* Support clients to maintain and improve their independence wherever possible
* Follow care plans and contribute to their regular review and updates
* Transporting the young person to appointments and activities
* Maintaining a daily log, incident reports and all other paperwork as required
