This primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join their dedicated Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners at a school that values creativity, collaboration, and high standards.
As a Reception Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
* Set and review weekly learning targets to support individual progress
* Write detailed reports and maintain accurate assessment records
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, including hosting parent evenings
* Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in the Early Years, ideally within a Reception class
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
What you'll get in return
Day rate £135-£150 per day (depending on experience).We will support you by looking for more roles when this role ends.Local work is available to you in the West Midlands.
