Operations Manager (Assistant Captain) - MOXY London Stratford

This position is based on a full time contract.

Gross salary - £competitive

Were looking for someone who doesnt just manage from behind a screen. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll live and breathe the MOXY vibe rolling up your sleeves, jumping on the floor with your team, and setting the pace from the front. Whether it's handling a guest complaint, working the bar, or clearing a table during a busy breakfast, you're the one leading by example.If youre the kind of person who thrives in the buzz of the lobby, not the silence of the back office we want to meet you.

Main Tasks and responsibilities

* Supports the General Manager in all aspects of the management of the hotel
* Customer service, guest relations and creating positive guest experiences
* Recruits and develops a team that delivers excellent service the Moxy way
* Ensure a profitable hotel operation in line with company goals
* Manage the team effectively and enforce company policies
* Actively involved in the day to day tasks of the team
* Strong Food & Beverage background you know the ins and outs of running an F&B operation.
* Managing Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
* Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way
* Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
* Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

Were looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

* Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
* Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
* Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
* Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Useful Experience

* Must have minimum 2 years hotel management experience
* Must have minimum 2 years team management
* Must haveproperty management system (preferably Opera) experience
* Knowledge of Point of Sale system (preferably Micros)
* Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
* Knowledge of maintaining brand standards
* Event management, marketing or social media experience
* Personal experience of travel and travel industry
