Sinclair Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Pupil Support Worker to join the support team in the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative, and passionate person to work in a new state-of-the-art denominational secondary school opened in August and located in the rapidly growing community of Winchburgh. The school also has shared sports facilities of the highest standard with Winchburgh Academy which is also open to the community.
We believe that our Pupil Support Workers are vital in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our pupils. The successful candidate will support the school in creating an inclusive, ambitious, and positive culture with a future-oriented way of thinking to ensure the very best outcomes and experiences for young people and families within our community. The successful candidate will play a key role in building our community of learning and faith based on our values of Aspiration, Integrity, Mercy and Service and will have a key role in the wider life of school.
In the first few years, we will be a growing school, so everyone in the team will work together to provide the best experiences for our young people. This post will be a rare opportunity to be involved in something exciting and completely unique. The roll is anticipated to rise year on year to reach its pupil initial capacity by. A future expansion strategy has been considered beyond this, potentially increasing the school roll up to a maximum capacity of 1, pupils.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act. From 28 February preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
