Job Title: PE Teacher Location: Sheffield (S35) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you enthusiastic about promoting healthy lifestyles and motivating young people to enjoy physical activity? GSL Education are partnering with schools in the S35 area to appoint a committed PE (Physical Education) Teacher who can deliver dynamic, well‑structured sessions across a range of sports and fitness activities. As a PE Teacher, you’ll motivate students to stay active, strengthen teamwork, and build confidence in and out of the classroom. Through engaging lessons and inclusive participation, you’ll foster a positive environment that supports every learner’s physical growth. Prime Responsibilities: Teach a variety of sports and physical education activities. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal fitness. Ensure lessons are engaging, safe, and well organised. Maintain equipment and set up practical sessions effectively. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to extracurricular sports and school events. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Strong knowledge of physical education and confidence delivering as a PE Teacher. Good communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills. A commitment to promoting inclusive and enjoyable PE experiences. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare.
