Job Title: Fitness Professional

Salary: £13.25 per hour & Paid breaks
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 26hrs - Across 7 days per week. Working times between 7am and 8pm.

As a Fitness Professional you will act as an Ambassador for the Wellness Spa, providing professional exercise therapy and ensuring the fitness areas and activities are promoted and run efficiently, exceeding member expectations at all times.
Responsibilities
* Assist members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement during each visit.
* Ensure accurate knowledge of each member’s health status before appointments and update records as necessary.
* Provide proper instruction to all Wellness Spa users to ensure safe exercise.
* Handle membership queries and bookings quickly, effectively and courteously both over the phone and in person.
* Clean and maintain all Wellness Spa areas and equipment, completing daily checks and reporting any cleaning/maintenance needs.
* Support membership retention by encouraging participation and promoting a fun, engaging atmosphere for repeat visits.
* Inform the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues at all times.
* Develop and promote organised events such as fitness challenges and group activities.
* Assist the Spa Manager in increasing visits and revenue through promotion of other spa services.
* Cover reception and handle phone bookings/enquiries in the absence of the Receptionist.
Key Skills / Qualifications
You currently hold an approved fitness qualification and are skilled in the safe and proper use of weights, cardiovascular and flexibility equipment. You can treat basic injuries and respond appropriately to emergencies. Friendly and approachable, you possess excellent interpersonal skills and consistently deliver the highest standard of customer service. You are an excellent communicator with strong organisational and promotional abilities, and you pay keen attention to detail to maintain a safe and clean environment for our members.
