A client within the Public Sector based in Lancashire is currently recruiting for an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join their Building Design Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority building services environment. The Role Key purpose of the role: To manage and deliver a range of Electrical Building Services design and project management activities across the authority, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Design and specification of Electrical Building Services systems including LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, small power, controls and low-carbon technologies • Lead and support the project management and delivery of Electrical Building Services projects • Manage and coordinate external consultants, ensuring performance, quality and KPIs are met • Provide specialist electrical engineering advice to internal and external stakeholders • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Asset Management and the wider Council The Candidate To be considered for this role you will require the following essential qualifications: • Degree / HND / HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or ...
