Following business growth, we have a Commercial Insurance Claims Adjuster opportunities in Birmingham. You will manage a portfolio of claims across multiple line of businesses including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation of policy liability, legal liability (where appropriate) and quantum. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a portfolio of claims across multiple lines of business, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation of policy liability, legal liability (where appropriate), and quantum. Deliver customer-focused outcomes by ensuring claims are handled efficiently and empathetically, maintaining high service standards. Work collaboratively with internal teams (including Underwriting), and third-party service providers to ensure claims service standards are met and customer expectations are exceeded. Maintain accurate and timely records in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders. Support continuous improvement by providing feedback and contributing to projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the claims process and customer experience. Qualifications Solid technical claims handling experience, ideally across multiple lines of business. Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service within a claims environment. Practical and common-sense approach to resolving claims and customer issues. Sound understanding of the insurance/reinsurance market (preferred). Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external partners. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Previous experience in a claims handling or adjusting role; cross line of business experience is advantageous. We offer in return!
