Care Assistant (Days & Nights)

As a Care Assistant with Meallmore you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship - and sharing great moments and memories too. Ensuring the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents, with washing, dressing, mealtimes and all other aspects of daily living.
Promoting residents' independence and well-being.
Monitoring residents' health conditions, liaising with relatives and colleagues.
Supporting residents in physical and social activities, getting to know their interests, and needs so they can lead their best life possible, by understanding what means most to them as an individual.
Ideally you will have an SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care, but don't worry if you don't, we will fully fund and support you to achieve this.
We have a Care Team career pathway to support you to reach your potential, all the way to Care Home Manager if that is your goal.
Working a fulltime job and juggling life is difficult, we know, with us you achieve a fulltime wage with ¾ days off each week. But if that still doesn't suit let us know, we can be flexible and will do our best to accommodate.
