YOUR ROLE
Capgemini Invent partners with the worlds leading Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and MedTech organisations, to unlock growth, improve patient outcomes, and shape the future of healthcare. We combine strategy, data & AI, experience design, and technology powered execution. In this role, you will help to grow our commercial engagements across biopharma, selling & delivering programmes that elevate brand performance, modernize marketing and scale AI‑powered, omnichannel operations. You will collaborate closely with frog on brand, content, creative, and marketing operating model transformation.
As a Senior Manager within Life Sciences, you will play a key role in:
* Selling & growing our Commercial business: originate, shape, and sell consulting, advisory and delivery engagements with life sciences commercial teams (UK & Global).
* Building & growing executive relationships across Marketing, Commercial/BU, Digital, Sales, Patient Services, and Market Access leadership with Pharma (UK & Global).
* Leading cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver strategy through execution programmes: brand growth, digital and multi‑channel acceleration, marketing technology & data foundations, and AI enablement.
* Co‑creating modern brand & content strategies: design marketing operating models, set up content studies and production pipelines, and scale omnichannel playbooks, collaborating with frog & Invent strategists, creatives, and marketing operations specialists.
* Coaching and developing team members: recruit outstanding talent, and cultivate an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
* Internal contribution – campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
* Learning & development – training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
* Business development – utilising a combination of the organisations broader pre‑existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be responsible for generating c.£1m‑£2m of consulting revenues.
YOUR PROFILE
* 10‑15+ years experience in Commercial pharma and/or medtech positions (Industry, client‑facing consulting, or agency), including leadership roles.
* Bachelors degree within Life Sciences or adjacent subjects; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD) is preferred.
* End‑to‑end ownership of launching and growing at least one brand within a Pharmaceutical or MedTech business (specialty/rare, vaccines, or primary care) or a major indication/label expansion.
* Expertise across brand strategy, brand & portfolio planning, segmentation & targeting, and/or product lifecycle management.
* Successful collaboration with Sales/Field, Patient Services, Medical, and/or Market Access teams, to ensure integrated brand execution.
* Proven delivery of AI use cases in Commercial, such as: GenAI content operations – brief‑to‑MLR drafting, variant generation, channel‑specific renditions, localisation; Personalisation & Next‑Best‑Action – segmentation, micro‑audiences, decisioning engines, experimentation; Insights generation using ML/NLP – social listening, KOL mapping, intent signals, conversation intelligence; Digital Strategy and digital asset creation & production (experience with Veeva / PromoMats / MedComms alignment, MLR optimisation is a plus); Campaign strategy & execution across HCP, patient, and payer journeys.
* Robust knowledge of UK/EU compliance frameworks (ABPI/PMCPA) and global promotional governance, with an understanding of Responsible AI in Pharma.
* Ability to navigate matrix organisations and partner ecosystems (agencies, media, tech partners), with a strong industry network.
* Proven track record of selling and delivering multi‑workstream programmes.
* UK‑based and available for travel, with experience working on global brands.

* Experience with specialty care, oncology, rare diseases, vaccines, and/or cell & gene therapies.
* Conference presence, published articles, or advisory roles.
