Rural Director - Land Management - South Lincolnshire
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Rural Surveyor to join a growing Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Stamford. This role offers the chance to take a pivotal position within an established estate management and rural consultancy practice, with exposure to a broad range of professional rural services and significant scope for career progression.
You will work closely with estate‑owning clients, deliver high‑quality professional advice, and play an important role in the continued development and expansion of the rural business.
Key Deliverables
1. Act as agent for a portfolio of estate management clients and ensuring delivery against key objectives.
2. Undertake estate and farm business reviews.
3. Drive innovative diversification, renewable energy and natural capital projects.
4. Oversee day‑to‑day management of rural assets, including rent reviews, lease negotiations, dispute resolution, repairs and maintenance programmes, and delivery of strategic estate goals.
5. Support clients with the promotion of strategic land.
6. Produce secured lending and other professional valuations.
7. Ensure adherence to internal processes, client standards and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
8. Lead and manage key personnel within the team.
9. Maintain and grow a strong and prestigious client base across the region.
10. Identify opportunities to leverage expertise and generate new business for the wider team.
11. Monitor and enhance the profitability of client relationships.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
24. Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree (or equivalent).
25. MRICS qualified - Rural pathway preferred, with at least 3 years' PQE.
26. CAAV membership/qualification is an advantage.
