Junior Project Engineer - Site Installation and Repair
We are seeking a recently qualified Engineer to participate in on-site installation and repair projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate on-site installation and repair projects from planning to completion
- Develop detailed method statements and risk assessments for all project activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project delivered safely, on time and under budget
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues on-site and develop effective solutions
Safety Documentation Requirements:
- Create comprehensive method statements that include:
- Project overview (project name, reference number, site address, work permits, etc.)
- Detailed hazards and safety measures
- Step-by-step instructions for task completion
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Emergency procedures and contact information
- Develop thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and control measures
- Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and easily understood by workers and clients
- Regularly review and update safety documentation as project conditions change
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
Qualifications and Experience:
- HNC or above in mechanical or civil engineering
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Desirable Skills:
- Previous technical experience
- CAD competence

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear safety documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Meticulous attention to detail in developing comprehensive safety procedures
- Ability to balance safety requirements with project efficiency and timelines•
