A well-established UK‑based heavy engineering manufacturer in Dudley is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.
Role And Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance across a range of production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment
* Complete planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics and technical drawings
* Undertake mechanical fault finding and repairs using engineering documentation
* Support PLC diagnostics and assist with installation, commissioning, and equipment modifications
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Maintenance engineering experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing environments
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* PLC fault‑finding experience
* Strong hands‑on mechanical and electrical fault‑finding capability
