Fitness Manager Full time, 37 hours per week £27,975 per annum Are you passionate about fitness, leadership, and helping people achieve their goals? Active Luton is looking for a dynamic, motivated Fitness Manager to lead their fitness team and deliver an exceptional experience for their members. As the Fitness Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their fitness facility, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and program quality. You'll lead a team of personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and wellness professionals—driving performance, engagement, and results. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, coach, and develop the fitness team to deliver outstanding member service. * Design and implement fitness programs, personal training packages, and wellness initiatives. * Oversee scheduling, budgets, equipment maintenance, and facility operations. * Monitor health and safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant policies. * Foster a vibrant, inclusive, and motivating fitness culture. * Track and report on KPIs, member feedback, and staff performance. * Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote services and events. Requirements: * A recognised fitness qualification (e.g. Level 3 Personal Trainer or equivalent). * Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a fitness or health club environment. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed. * First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
