In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out preventative and planned maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. You'll play a key part in fault finding, supporting continuous improvement, and helping to drive efficiency across our operations. Working in line with SOPs, RAMS, and daily plans, you'll contribute to the safe and reliable running of our production processes - helping us deliver high-quality mozzarella and whey products to customers around the world. The successful candidates must have: Essential: Health & Physical Requirements: Physically agile with ability to access all areas of plant and equipment. Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. Flexibility to work beyond core hours and remain on-site until job completion. Availability for overtime to cover holidays and absences. Willingness to move between engineering teams to support skills balance and provide cover where required upon completion of training Willingness to work rotating 12-hour continental shifts, including nights and weekends for cover when required Technical Skills & Experience: Minimum 4 years' recent and relevant experience in a production/manufacturing environment. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (with strong cross-trade mechanical/electrical skills) or NVQ Level 3 in Mechatronics. Proven cross-trade practical skills in: Diagnostics and repair of electrical and automation systems. PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks (e.g. Profibus DP/PA, Profinet, AS-I, Ethernet). Electronic circuits, panel building, PLC wiring, and updating panel drawings. Mechanical systems including pumps, seals, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Air compressors and dryers. Knowledge & Competence: Detailed understanding of manufacturing equipment and safety requirements for maintenance. Knowledge of safe working practices and maintaining a safe work environment. Competent numeracy and literacy skills. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel). Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Mechatronics Strong practical cross-trade skills (mechanical and electrical) Competent in numeracy and literacy Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) Familiarity with food/dairy production equipment and processes Experience with SAP or similar Maintenance ERP systems Assertive, proactive, and demonstrates leadership qualities Knowledge of: Refrigeration systems Vacuum packing equipment Boilers and steam distribution Benefits: Pension
