Job Title: Legionella Plumber / Remedial Engineer
Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire
Salary: 30k - 40k DOE, plus good O/T + T/T rates
We are currently working closely with an established privately owned water treatment company, who are looking for an experienced Legionella Plumber / Remedial Engineer to join their team. Applicants will have experience working within the water treatment / legionella industry, hands on experience carrying out remedial plumbing tasks to commercial properties. Candidates must hold a minimum of NVQ 2 Plumbing qualification. Holding the G3 unvented would be beneficial but not essential.
Candidates will be covering contract across the M25, and locations considered include: Enfield, Chigwell, Epping, Harlow, Potters Bar, Barnet, Watford, Harrow, St Albans, Beaconsfield, Slough, Windsor, Southall, Ilford, Barking, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Gravesend, Erith, Sidcup, Orpington, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Caterham, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Woking, Redhill, Weybridge, Bracknell.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 2 Plumbing Qualifications
- G3 Unvented ticket - (desirable)
- Hands on experience working within the Water Treatment / Legionella Industry
- Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
Role:
- Servicing and conducting repairs on existing water systems
- Deadleg removals
- Fitting of new cold water storage tanks, in addition to refurbishing existing tanks
- TMV replacements and installations
- Replacing components, including: valves, vessels and taps
- POU heater installations
- Servicing water softeners and chlorine dioxide units
- Fitting dosing pots
- Replacing pipework and fitting new
- Producing regular service reports
