We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA3) to provide KS1 support on a supply basis. This role is ideal for a confident and adaptable TA who can step into different school environments and make an immediate positive impact on pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support KS1 pupils in the classroom, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
* Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, including SEND where required
* Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development
* Provide support with phonics, literacy, numeracy, and classroom routines
* Ensure pupils’ safety and wellbeing, following safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting children within KS1
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
* Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
* Confident classroom presence with excellent communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
