About The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Worker to join a supportive care team. This role involves providing person-centred support, working as part of a team to help maintain a safe, support, and caring environment that meets both individual and shared needs, while consistently demonstrating a positive and person-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support
* Assisting with daily living activities and routines
* Promoting independence, dignity and respect at all times
* Supporting with care plans
* Working as an effective team member and communicating effectively
* Following safeguarding procedures and organisation policies
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Support Worker or within a similar role
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (desirable)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A Compassionate and patient approach
* Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
