An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Social Care Self Directed Support Team.
This role plays a vital part in supporting adult social care clients, carers and families who receive support through Direct Payments and/or Individual Service Funds. If you have strong finance experience, excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering a customer-focused service, we would love to hear from you.
* Trinity Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 3NJ
* £13.50 per hour
* 36 hours per week
* 9-month contract (Maternity Cover)

The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the financial administration of client accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and transparency.
Key duties include:
* Reconciling client accounts and calculating balances
* Producing audit reports, identifying variances and processing reclaims
* Processing and arranging payment of care bills
* Supporting clients, carers and families with financial queries
* Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies
This is a busy and responsible role that requires accuracy, organisation and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
About You
* Previous experience working in a finance setting
* Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail
* Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Confidence in learning new IT systems
* Experience delivering a customer-focused service
* The ability to communicate sensitively with vulnerable adults
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
