Job Description
New Directions are looking for an outstanding Maths teacher to work in one of our partner Secondary Schools in Rochdale. The role is a full time long term role starting after the February Half term until the end of the academic year.
As a Maths Teacher you’ll be expected to:
1. Hold a PGCE and UK QTS (or QTLS)
2. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
3. Manage behaviour
4. Build relationships with students
5. Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
6. Have a passion for teaching secondary Maths
The Role:
7. Deliver engaging and lessons in Maths
8. Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4
9. Manage behaviour
10. Support the school’s vision and values, and foster a positive learning environment
