Pitlochry is a large town in Highland Perthshire, 27 miles north of the City of Perth and it has good transport links.
Pitlochry High School is an All Through School with pupils from Nursery through to S4. The School has a very positive, supportive ethos, which encourages all pupils and staff to maximise their potential.
The PT Faculty will support the strategic direction in whole school leadership and management. They will lead and manage a team of teaching staff within the Faculty (Physical Education and Home Economics).
You will have responsibility as Head of House: co-ordinating the team of tutors within the house; leading and managing the role of the tutor system across secondary, as part of personal support; chairing the Health and wellbeing whole school working group and leading House Assemblies.
You will support the development of the curriculum through the All Through School, liaising with colleagues in nursery, primary and secondary as appropriate as well as working collegiately with our Active schools Co-ordinator and colleagues within PKC.
