Accounts and Payroll Assistant
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (we will consider part time applicants) Permanent.
Location: Neath
Salary: Dependant on experience
This position will report directly to Head of Group Finance.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts and Payroll Assistant to join our expanding team within the Salus Property Group.

Responsibilities: (not limited to)
Payroll:
· Calculate weekly and monthly wages, deductions, overtime, and holiday pay.
· Liaise with HMRC and Pension Providers.
· Respond to pay queries in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate records.
· Reconciling the payroll including payroll journals.
· Process pensions accurately as per pensions regulator.
· Payroll analysis reports.
Accounts:
· Credit control.
· To check and processes expenses.
· Inputting of sales and purchase invoices via Autoentry.
· Providing supplier remittances.
· Prepare and post journals.
· Weekly budget reporting for Senior Management.
· Providing reports for the Head of Group Finance.
· Balance Sheet reconciliations.
· Assist with bank reconciliations.
· Assist in Month End and Year End.
Skills:
· Experience in a similar role.
· Excellent numeracy skills with good attention to detail.
· Must be computer literate and conversant with all Microsoft packages with the ability to produce and maintain spreadsheets on Excel.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
· Experienced and proficient in using Sage 50 payroll and Sage 50 Professional.
· Team player and use your own initiative.
· Have a strong work ethic.
· Have excellent communication skills.
