Location: Suffolk New College – On The Coast Campus, Harrisons Lane, Halesworth, IP19 8PY
Contract Dates: 5th November – 12th December 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM (10 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)

Vertas Group Limited is seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join the early morning cleaning team at Suffolk New College’s Halesworth campus. This role is vital in ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment for students and staff before the college day begins.

Key Responsibilities
* Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and toilets to a high standard
* Vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces, and disinfect high-touch areas
* Empty bins and handle waste disposal responsibly
* Follow cleaning schedules and site-specific hygiene procedures
* Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the site supervisor

What We're Looking For
* Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
* Able to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is beneficial but not essential
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and provide employment references

Compliance Requirements
As this role is based in an educational setting, the following are required:
* Enhanced DBS Check with Barred List – current or willing to obtain
* CV and proof of right to work in the UK
* Proof of address and National Insurance number
* 3 years of employment or character references
* Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
