Responsible for providing executive secretarial assistance to the Vice President and General Counsel.
Responsibilities
* Provide routine executive secretarial assistance (e.g., mail, copying, distributing, filing, typing/word processing).
* Coordinate the schedule of the Vice President to accommodate meetings with hospital staff, attorneys, and others.
* Assist the Vice President in coordinating activities related to legal matters, such as employee interviews and depositions.
* Transcribe legal correspondence, analyses, interrogatories, contracts, forms, and related filings.
* Coordinate the submission of general liability claims to the insurer.
* Coordinate the purchase of professional liability insurance policies for employed physicians.
* Maintain and update filing systems.
* Maintain incident reporting filing systems and develop routine reports for review by the Vice President.
* Greet callers, ascertain their name and firm represented, and notify the appropriate employee of visitor arrival.
* File documents following standard procedures.
* Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
An associate's degree and a minimum of three years of job-related experience or equivalent is required.
