BBC NI People Team supports the people priorities across Northern Ireland. We partner with the NI leadership team and colleagues on HR topics to deliver the people plan and associated priorities from hire to retire.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
As a HR Support (HRA26) apprentice, you will learn and contribute by:
 * Working alongside a dedicated HR team within the BBC, learning HR processes
 * Providing support to colleagues and contributing to making the BBC a great place to work
 * Assisting with day-to-day HR tasks, depending on the team you are placed into
 * Developing communication and organisation skills for a career in HR or transferable use elsewhere
You’ll study for your industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, spending at least one day a week studying for a Level 3 Human Resources Support apprenticeship with our learning provider.

This scheme is aimed at non-graduates. If you have a degree, consider other BBC apprenticeship schemes or roles on the BBC careers site.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must:
 * Be 18 years old or over by the apprenticeship start in September 2026
 * Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start
 * Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the duration
 * Not be enrolled in another apprenticeship
 * Not already hold a qualification in the same subject area at the same or higher level

This is a fixed-term apprenticeship lasting the duration of the scheme, with career development and networking opportunities on completion.
You’ll need to live within a commutable distance of the role. Relocation support is available for a limited number of apprentices, subject to eligibility.
