About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and well organised Events Coordinator to join their team and support the smooth delivery of weddings, conferences and private functions. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication skills, strong coordination ability and a friendly, confident approach when dealing with clients, suppliers and wedding parties.
You will be the first point of contact for all event enquiries and will play a key role in arranging weddings from the initial enquiry through to the day of the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming enquiries for weddings, conferences and private events
* Act as the primary contact for engaged couples and guide them through the full wedding planning process
* Prepare proposals, quotations and personalised wedding packages
* Coordinate all logistics including ceremony and reception room bookings, schedules and supplier arrangements
* Maintain accurate booking records and update the events management system
* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams
* Support on site delivery of weddings and events when required
* Prepare contracts, final details and event confirmation documents
* Assist with set up and ensure every event is delivered to agreed standards
* Support the Events Manager with administration and general project tasks
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in events coordination, ideally including weddings
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple bookings
* Confident in working to deadlines and managing client expectations
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
* A positive and professional manner when supporting wedding parties and clients
