New Opportunity – Sales Administrator
On behalf of our client, a long-established manufacturing business based in Derbyshire, we are seeking a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join their team. This role involves supporting internal teams and customers, accurately processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The position would suit someone with a strong background in administration and an understanding of sales support, order processing, and customer service. We are looking for a candidate who is confident communicating with customers and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Process and input sales orders
* Support and resolve customer enquiries and queries
* Action warranty requests; organise warranty engineer attendance
* Release goods for dispatch to customers
* Prepare standard equipment quotations
* Run daily KPI reports
* Send and receive emails both internally and externally
* Answer inbound calls
* Other general administrative tasks
Requirements for this role
* At least 2+ years of recent administration experience
* Previous experience of Microsoft Office
* Polite and confident telephone manner
* The ability to work under pressure
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Be able to work as part of a team and individually
* Possess a positive attitude and aptitude to learn
* Previous experience in a sales administrator role is desirable
About this role
* Salary for this role is £12.50 per hour
* This is a full‑time, office‑based role.
* This position is 40 hours per week (8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
