Chorley School of Music are looking to expand their team of music teachers. The job role is teaching one to one tuition and/or small groups.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good standard of practical ability on their instrument, as well as a good knowledge of theory.
It is preferred (but not essential) that applicants have previous experience working with different age groups.
There will be a 3 month probation period where the hourly rate will be £16.50 per hour. Following this teachers work on a self employed basis earning £18 per hour.
The position is mainly part time (evenings and/or weekends) based on the applicant's availability which enables flexibility for students and teachers. At present we require someone who has availability on a Tuesday and/or Wednesday evening from 4pm with an aim to start the first week in October with a possible hand over lesson the final week of September.
