The Role We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Manager help us expand our exclusive-fleet freight forwarding operation. The successful candidate will manage and develop our freight forwarding team and help to enhance our customer-base, drive profitable subcontractor-led solutions, and ensure seamless delivery, whilst preparing the foundation for a sustainable long-term growth model. Negotiate contracts, transportation, and handling costs with third-party providers and subcontractors. Act as a key liaison with the sales team to secure sustainable long-term contracts, while managing existing clients as an account manager. Map annual revenue targets, deliver high service levels, and develop strategic relationships with customers. Oversee sub-contrator network operations. About You - we’re looking for someone who brings: Proven experience of developing and managing a freight forwarding operation within a similar freight forwarding role. Proven experience of managing customer accounts and developing strong relationships with customers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-orientated skills, and commercial acumen. Ability to work independently and lead a team to achieve targets.
