Incredible opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Process Technician at our Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works Site.
As the successful candidate, your role will involve performing a range of front-line activities, including operation, sampling, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
This may include planned and preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operation. The role also involves daily sampling duties to ensure effluent quality and process data meet required standards.
As a Process Technician, no two days are the same, providing an interesting, challenging, and rewarding environment. Full training and support will be provided regarding Health & Safety, technical, and process requirements.
This role offers a chance to make a real environmental impact by helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician
* Carry out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment following company standards to improve resilience.
* Conduct daily sampling rounds to ensure compliance.
* Perform weekly environmental rounds and fire alarm checks.
* Operate and clean plant and equipment to maintain operational and safety standards.
* Respond to reactive jobs following plant or equipment failure.
* Maintain site cleanliness and undertake safety and security checks.
* Work safely, adhering to all Health and Safety guidance and procedures.
Base Location: Maple Lodge - Rickmansworth - WD3 9SQ.
Working Pattern: 38 hours Monday-Friday, plus standby rota with additional pay.
Essential requirements: Full, valid, clean UK driving licence.
