An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Transportation Services Enhanced Bus Partnership Team. The role involves assisting in the delivery of the council's Medibus Call Centre, taking telephone calls, scheduling bookings for demand responsive transport and responding to customer enquiries. You will also provide administrative support, including the processing and payment of invoices, for the Transportation Services Team.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate accuracy, good IT skills, customer focus and administrative skills. Experience of working in a passenger transport environment, call centre and dealing with queries and complaints from members of the public is desirable but not essential as guidance and support is available from other team members to assist you in the learning process.

This is a full time, fixed term contract until 31st March 2026, which will be reviewed towards the end of the contract. The role will be 37 hours, Monday to Friday and the work pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
