Responsibilities
* Undertake external audits and assurance assignments across a wide variety of sectors, including corporates, charities, and independent schools.
* Prepare accounts and tax computations as part of audit assignments.
* Work off-site at client premises in various locations across the Southeast and Southwest.
* Respond to client queries as they arise.
* Apply risk focus, professional scepticism, and judgment to deliver robust, efficient audits.
* Maintain audit quality standards required by audit regulations and internal policies.
* Manage and prioritise own work and assignments to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
* Build relationships with clients and related third parties.
Requirements
* Minimum three years of audit experience in a professional practice.
* ACA or ACCA Part-Qualified or Qualified.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience with Excel, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH is an advantage.
* Team player with a strong work ethic and drive.
* Highly personable with excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Salary: £40,000 – £46,000 depending on experience and background.
