Your duties as Credit Control Administrator will include: Proactively monitor customer accounts and resolve payment issues efficiently Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely communication and resolution of queries Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to support timely payment Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue accounts Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and quality standards Chase payments on resolved queries and escalate overdue cases when necessary Maintain accurate customer account and payment records Support the implementation of departmental processes to achieve collection targets Investigate and resolve customer queries promptly to reduce outstanding debt Complete administrative and reporting tasks to support overall Credit Control effectiveness Occasional travel requirement to York Experience and skills required: Minimum of 1 year's experience in credit control Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to manage overdue accounts and resolve payment queries Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience plus a range of fantastic benefits including 24 days holiday plus bank holidays that increases with service, health insurance, life assurance and a supportive pension plan with employer contributions.
